The theater project UMSTEIGEN (Crossing over) deals with high school students from an immigrant background. Crossing over means moving on from school to apprenticeship, from living at home to living on one's own, from being taught to working at a job. Crossing over also means the challenge of having to adapt to a distinctly different culture without always knowing what is expected.
This biographical project involving fourteen teenagers and two actors was realized in cooperation with CACTUS JUNGES THEATER, Münster, for the municipal theater of Münster (Städtische Bühnen Münster).
